How to Use a Breadboard

Electronics can be a dread to many people. As compared to mechanical, electronics are definitely more scary. However, this is just a perception. And you should never believe the public blindly unless you have been through it yourself. Therefore, you will be a smart person, by trusting yourself. But, being interdependent is another thing to discuss. Now, we talk about some electronics techniques, shall we?

Once you know the basic functions and idea of how an electronics circuit is supposed to work, you are on your way. Start soldering these components onto the board! But, what kind of board exactly? Now, just to let you know, there are the 'veroboard', 'PCB' (printed circuit board) and bread board. These three are the most common.

Bread board is the simplest to start with. But, they can be costly. Once purchased, they can be used forever, over and over again. Simply plug in the components legs into the many holes of the bread board. Which holes to plug them in? Well, you need to know about wiring. Wiring, is a knowledge and a skill you should have in electronics. It is the fundamental skill of any electrician.

Usually, the first two rows of holes are for positive and negative power supply. The holes lined up horizontally on one of these power supply rows can be imagined like a straight wire. The middle compartments will consist of the most holes. These are where you will stick your components into. Note that for each column, (not rows like earlier) the entire stretch of vertical holes are imagined as a straight vertical wire.

Using these new found knowledge, you can immediately insert electronic components into the bread board and start building a circuit!

You can improve vision at night when driving when using these xenon (HID) lights.
